The iOS SDK only runs on MacOS, as far as I know.

Finally! Thanks very much. I have my 10.4 install disk (w/Xcode 2.x) and my 10.6 install disk (w/Xcode 3.2), but can’t find my macbook 10.5 disk. I was going around in circles looking for Xcode 3.0/3.1. I kept getting 3.2.5 on the developer.apple.com site. Downloaded! Cheers.
